Network setup, Wired and Wireless

Set up a network connection between two computers or more computers. Setup for both wireless and wired Windows, Mac, and Linux (wireless setup on select distributions and hardware configurations).

Linux HTTP/FTP, DNS, or Mail Server Install and Configuration

Have your own server located in your building. This allows you limitless control over your server configuration, and provides long term cost savings— you're not renting a server in a room somewhere, you actually own it!

Add as many subdomains as you like, and even configure your server to split load across multiple low-cost DSL connections. Have the equivalent of a T1, or better, for a faction of the cost.

System Optimization and Preventative Maintenance

General system preventative maintenance and dust removal. We do not perform registry cleanings as the proper method is to reinstall the operating system. Cleaning the registry can cause future problems with your operating system.

NEVER USE REGISTRY CLEANING SOFTWARE FOR YOUR COMPUTER! Many of the free "registry cleaners" are actually malware or viruses. Regardless if the software is free or not, there is a very real possibility it will remove something from the registry that it should not.

Operating system Install

Windows, Mac OS X, or other Operating System Install. Windows XP/Windows Visa dual and tri-boot configurations are possible (a separate hard drive is recommended for a second Windows operating system on the same PC).

Windows operating systems should be reinstalled every year or so. After performing a clean install, installing all required updates, and software you use all the time, it is highly recommended that an image is saved of your current configuration so that, in the future, all that you need to do to reinstall Windows is drop a CD into the drive, and let it run.

Ghosting/Imaging Drive

Create an image of your current system installation to allow for easy recovery in the future. Highly recommended after performing a clean OS installation.

Data Backup

Backup all of your files to an external hard drive, or to media. BluRay backups require pre-payment and have approximately 24-36 hour turn around for return of the hard drive, plus 1 week for the actual backup to be produced (the BluRay disc will be mailed).

Hard Drive Cleaning/Wipe

This is not a simple hard drive format. The entire drive will be wiped and thrashed clean of all data, including the partition table. A blank partition table will be created when the process is complete. The only possible way data could be recovered from the drive is using advanced analog noise analysis of the drive media— and even then it is unlikely any data will be recovered.

Your system will require the operating system to be installed to be usable. We have several options available if you have lost or did not receive recovery CDs with your computer. Optionally, if your system has a recovery partition, it may be possible to backup that partition and later use it to recover your system without the recovery CDs.

For especially sensitive data that you want to be sure not even government agencies (foreign or domestic) or corporate spies can recover, then the most secure (and paranoid) solution is complete destruction of the magnetic layers of the platters. This will render the hard disk into a high-tech paperweight.
